A group of young people from the Dominican Association of Down Syndrome (ADOSID) have initiated “INCLUSION WORK”, a project that seeks to strengthen vocational training, social integration, and employment of people with disabilities. The project conducts workshops on the importance of skin care, practices basic steps for good skin hygiene, and includes a relaxing facial directed by ADOSID youth. The workshops use ARTISTRY products. A person with special abilities has dreams and aspirations, like anyone else. This program gives them opportunities to work, a sense of dignity, and is not only a change on a personal level, but also social level, because they go from being a taxpayer burden to economically active.
