Easter Seals New York Hits Home Run at 2012 Playing for Today Gala

For the past 80 years, non-profit Easter Seals has provided invaluable services for those with disabilities or special needs. On May 3rd Easter Seals New York raised $500,000 for the very first time at the 2012 Playing for Today Gala, hosted by Yankee Stadium Legends Suite Club.
Attracting more than 240 people, the tremendously successful event served to honor the generous and altruistic individuals who have significantly contributed to the cause. Several Amway Independent Business Owners were recognized as was the Regional President of the Americas for Amway, Tanios Viviani, who received the organization’s highest honor, the Lilli and Allan Shedlin Award.
Amway has been a proud supporter and sponsor of Easter Seals for the past 29 years, with Independent Business Owners raising more than $31 million for children and adults with disabilities or special needs.
